- PhD in Geology/Earth Science, Clay mineralogy from University of Oslo (UiO) 1987. Research Scientist in SINTEF from 1988 to 2005. Founded Abalonyx AS in 2005 and co-founded Graphene Batteries AS in 2012. Graphene Batteries was re-branded to Morrow Technologies AS. Abalonyx reinforced its position as the leading graphene oxide company in Europe, with several universally unique products. In July 2021 Abalonyx sold its graphene oxide technology and all other assets to Aker Capital, who re-branded it as LayeOne AS later that year, with RW as interim-CEO and later Chief Scientist. In April 2023 SHIFT Materials AS and Lithium267 AS were established together with members of the Abalonyx team. Inventor/co-inventor about 30 patents / patent applications.
